APPLE CRISP

Apple crisp combines spiced apples and crunchy oat and brown sugar topping creating a symphony of sensations that dances across the tongue.

Ingredients

FILLING

  • 4 Apples
  • 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 2 tbsp White Sugar
  • 2 tsp Lime
  • 1 tbsp Cornstarch
  • tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Cinnamon

TOPPING

  • ¾ cup Flour
  • ¼ cup Rolled Oats
  • ½ cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Cinnamon
  • ½ cup Unsalted Melted Butter

Instructions

  • Wash and peel 4 apples.
  • Cut the apples into quarters and remove the core.
  • Slice the apples and add to a bowl.
  • Pour the lime juice over the apples.
  • Mix to ensure the apples are fully coated.
  • Add your remaining ingredients.
  • Mix well and set aside.
  • To a bowl, add your dry ingredients and mix well.
  • Add in your melted butter and stir your ingredients until crumbly.
  • Add your filling to a baking dish, then add your crumb topping on top.
  • Bake at 375F for 30-35 minutes.
  • Cool for 10 minutes before cutting.
  • Serve with vanilla ice cream.
