Add your flour, sugar, and salt to a bowl and whisk well.
Grate your previously frozen butter and mix until well combined.
Add in your water and knead your dough.
Refrigerate your dough for 30 minutes.
Preheat your oven to 375°F.
Roll out your dough in a circular shape and place the dough on a lined baking tray.
Add your cherry pie filling in the center of the dough, leaving 2-3 inches of space away from the filling.
Fold the edges of your dough over the filling.
Combine your egg and milk to make an egg wash and brush it over your dough.
Sprinkle some cane sugar over the dough and bake for 40 minutes.
Cool for 10-15 minutes before cutting.
