Ingredients
1cupRaw Peanuts180g
¼cupQuick Cooking Oats
1cupBoiling waterFor soaking
2cupsWaterfor cooking
1Cinnamon Stick
½tspNutmeg
¼tspCinnamon
½cupCondensed Milk
½tspSalt
1tspVanilla
1 ¼cupMilk
Instructions
Soak 1 cup raw peanuts, 1/4 cup quick cooking oats with 1 cup boiling water for at least 10 mins. Set aside.
Add 2 cups water to a pot with 1 cinnamon stick and 1/2 tsp salt. Bring to a boil.
Blend the soaked peanuts with 1/2 tsp nutmeg, 1/4 tsp cinnamon, and 1 1/4 cup milk until smooth.
Add the mixture to the pot and cook for 10 mins on med heat. Stir frequently.
Reduce to low and add 1 tsp vanilla and 1/2 cup condensed milk. Cook for 5 mins.
Notes
If you prefer a thicker porridge, then reduce the 2 cups of water needed for the pot by 1/4 to 1/2 cup.
