Pumpkin Spice Syrup is the perfect addition to all your favorite fall beverages and treats. This recipe is not only simple to make, but it is also less expensive than purchasing pre-made syrup and a great way to use up leftover pumpkin.

INGREDIENTS NEEDED FOR PUMPKIN SPICE SYRUP

1. water

2. Pure Canned Pumpkin – Not Pumpkin Pie Filling

3. Brown Sugar

4. White Sugar

5. Pumpkin Spice

6. Vanilla

HOW TO MAKE PUMPKIN SPICE SYRUP

1. Add your water, pumpkin puree, brown sugar, white sugar and pumpkin spice to a medium saucepan.

2. Whisk until well combined and cook on medium-high heat until the sugar has dissolved.

3. Then, lower the heat and simmer until the syrup begins to thicken and coats your spoon. Approximately 5-10 minutes.

4. Remove from heat and add in your vanilla.

5. Once cooled, strain the mixture, or keep it as is and then store it in an airtight container.

HOW TO STORE IT

You can store this in your fridge for up to 1 week in an airtight container.
